License poodlewise
You can also buy perpetual license of Poodle and install at your premises. Though we recommend subscription to www.poodlewise.com, option of perpetual license is also available for those customers who would like to maintain the resume database within their own premises.

Remote Connectivity -
We would need remote connection facility to your server either via VPN or any other remote connecting tools available in the market. Remote connectivity is essential for support and troubleshooting.
Remote connectivity is also required to assist during installation of software and help your system administration team to carry out installation.

- Request for demo
Upon request for demo, our sales team shall provide online demo of the complete product. Alternatively you can also get feel of product from extensive blog (blog.poodlewise.com), presentation and other documentation available on www.poodlewsie.com
- Product Quote and H/W sizing
In the next step we provide license quote for the product. Quote includes license cost, on-installation support cost and AMC costs. We would need details such as total resume database, expected growth of resume data in future, total number of users etc. When you request for quote, our sales team shall get in touch with you to collect all the necessary details
Same input will also be used to provide H/W sizing of the server on which product can be installed. At the end of this exercise, you should get fair idea of cost ownership
- Customization Identification
At this stage we also accept any customization to be done in the product. Customization shall incur additional cost. Our engineering team engages with customer's user group to understand requirements of customization and provides effort estimates accordingly. We always try to see is if customer requests are in our product roadmap so that customer benefits by waiting a little while. If customer can not wait or request is not present in our roadmap then we shall do customization. Final quote will include cost of customization as well.
- Deal Sign-up
Our price are very competitive and we rarely have negotiation happening. In any case, post quote and discussions the deal is signed between customer and poodlewise for implementation of the product.
- Product Installation & Training
We would need customers system admin to perform installation of the software. We have elaborate documentation on installation and trouble-shooting. We also support remotely in installation activities if needed. Software installation and setting-up should not take more than couple of hours if all the prerequisite software is already installed. We provide training to user-group remotely (also available onsite at additional cost). Though we have extensive documentation and help on our blog, our experience shows that 'Getting Started' training gives a good jump start to user group.
- Warranty
Post training and user acceptance, we sign-off the implementation. This also begins warranty support period for the product. During warranty period we provide full support for the product. Warranty period will be as agreed in the contract. Warranty support include

- Change Requests
Customer can post for CR any time during support or warranty. Change request could be any change in the product that customer wants to suit their requirement or could be request for additional reports or interface to integrate with another application. Each CR execution will have following steps

- Implementation at customer-site and acceptance
- CR request closure and merger with regular support
